The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
Carl R. Rogers
Have you been feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in cycles of self-doubt, or struggling with the stress of family expectations or cultural challenges? You might be facing issues in your relationships, feeling unsure about your sense of self, or struggling to keep up with the pressures of school or work. These experiences can be very overwhelming—but they don’t have to be carried alone.
My approach is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed. Drawing from a blend of evidence-based modalities, such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy, I create a supportive space to explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and move toward meaningful change. You’ll also gain tools to manage distress, improve your self-worth, and build more authentic relationships.
I also have experience working with youths (ages 12+) and young adults facing parent-child conflict, intergenerational cultural challenges, and difficulties with peers or academics, and offer a compassionate, culturally informed approach to these concerns.
In our work together, my hope is that you’ll feel more grounded, seen, and connected to your inner resilience. Therapy can be a space for gentle exploration, reflection, and growth—at your own pace. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out and book a free consultation. I offer services in both English and Korean.
